Hello Everyone!!!

Today TED blog 5 (free choice) was due today.

In class we watched TED talk 6 "Once Upon a School" by Dave Eggers.  This talk is an example of a TED wish/challenge. Also 3 of Smith's former students that answered questions about the TED talk.
Advise: Practice, practice, practice

One thing everyone should know: Don't stress  pick a topic your passionate about, don't wait until the last minute.

Smith also has provided a schedule for the next few weeks to help schedule what to work on in your TED talk.

5/6-1 topic, Empathy/play fishbowl

5/7- 2 topic, Dan Pink day (second hour)

5/8- 3 topic, Map testing

5/9- TED wish/challenge (MAKE IT SPECIFIC)

5/10- Full speech done

5/11-12-Practice intro

5/13-Practice 1

5/14-Practice 2

5/15-Practice 3

5/16 Practice 4

5/17-Practice 5

5/18-19- Practice Twice
