Great job! I really enjoyed and connected to your TED talk. Way to finish up the group!!!!
You didn't look nervous. ;)I loved your presentation! I also loved how your pictures really emphasized what you were saying to us. Good job.
I love your slides. They really complemented you speech.
Your topic was very similar to mine, which makes me biased to your speech. Very good. You finished this tourney of speeches very well, great job. Awesome connection with the audience through openly sharing your fear of performance, and therefore openly allowing theirs. You are an incredibly brilliant girl. Excellent leadership qualities, through your calm quiet demeanor and big ideas. Very articulate speech, I enjoyed it. Thank you
I like the way you dissected the qualities of perseverance and strength. The way you connected it to yourself was great. Nice job being honest with your fear of public speaking.
Awesome example, it was really cool that you connect so well with your topic! I really liked the points you made and seeing the bright side and embracing light! Optimism does a lot!
Aha clicker! (; I like how you tied in little personal bits here and there. I swear to god you impress me every time you talk. Amazing job Em!
Emily your speech was absolutely amazing, I really enjoyed your personal connections. I liked how you compared your solutions to a house.
For someone who is afraid to speak in front of people you did a phenomenal job being articulate and conveying your message. I also loved the analogy of the optimism balloon and the determination house.
Great job Emily! I loved your subject and the personal stories throughout your speech. I loved you optimism! Awesome job!
You said you were terrified but you didn't appear to be AT ALL. You were so confident and well prepared. If you were nervous, you sure did fake it well! Strength is hard to find but we all have it because we all went up there and gave our speeches. :) I wish more people understood that optimism is a choice, because it really is.
Your speech is so easy to relate to. I was so terrified to get up and give my TED talk but I found strength to persevere through it. Optimism get all teenagers through school. Your TED talk was amazing. I love the I will vs. I wish attitude. WOW!
Perseverance is vital to happiness. I really liked your house metaphor! It put it into perspective and made it easier to understand. Good job!
I like all the different examples of nature you used to represent your topic! I also loved how you were so honest about how nervous you were, I couldn't tell at all, you sounded so confident and knowledgeable!
I loved your description of mental strength! You may dislike public speaking, but you're actually a fantastic speaker, the meaning came through in everything you said. I enjoyed how you related your main points to the TED Talk itself, it was so unique and interesting!
Mind Blown! Your humor is great, and your presentation was very organized and well put together. Way to persevere through your presentation :) Very well done, and all of your connections to everything were superb (house was a great way to put it all together).
You really didn't let how scared you were show at all, if you hadn't said anything I never would have even known that you were. The connection between optimism and you didn't know if it was a good TED talk, but you had to be optimistic that it was was great. Your TED will was so great.
Mental strength is truly able to pull us out of life's ditches. You are so brave to talk in front of these scary people :) Great font by the way! Anyway, your speech really spoke to me, showed me the light in darkness. Great symbolism with the house. Your "I will" might just become my new life motto. THAT WAS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud!
Great speech! (I told you you could do it) I really liked how you connected your topic to your current situation, and everyone could really connect to it. I think everyone was blown away (and definitely not bored). Great job!
Good analogies to the house, math, and perseverance/determination. This was a great speech, nice job wrapping everything up.
Great job! You were very humorous, and your talk was quite clever, like you "TED Will."
