You are a very confident speaker. My only criticism is that you keep shifting back and forth on your feet. I'd suggest trying to take a couple of steps here or there when you explain your key points. Very interesting idea with the U-Cans. Good job going first!
I'm so glad you went first Kate! Your talk helped me gain confidence and I could tell you really believed what you were saying by the way your confidence came across.
Kate, First off, you were great and I admire your confindence. You had great inflection your voice. I also really enjoyed the irony of the topic; the power of insecurity whilst making yourself vulnerable. I relate to the aspect of insecurity because I have struggled with it all my life. As much as i enjoyed it, I would have expanded on the idea that we are children of God.
I can really connect with your speech. What a wonderful way to start off the TED Talk: gave me the strength to believe in myself. You were the perfect person to tell this to the class as you are a role model for confidence and inspired the whole class, especially me to believe that I CAN do this. Thank you.
Kate–Thank you so much for your speech. You have given me more confidence to do my presentation. You were so professional and amazing. It was obvious that you were super confident– and even if you weren't, you sure faked it well! And thank you for the U Can. I can do this!
Your speech really helped me. I was feeling really nervous about my TED talk, but your speech gave me the confidence to do my speech. I am feeling a lot better, I know that I CAN do my ted talk.
Great job Kate! You did amazing and your speech was so inspirational and helped me feel confident for my speech! I'm glad you went first and you really set the bar high! Keep on spreading the confidence!
you talked a little fast but I loved your topic and could really relate to it. You were very uplifting, and the can was a great idea, and really helped with your idea.
I like the story of the drawings that people had of themselves, and how other people looked at a person as a whole. I love the message and you did it very well. I also like the 'u can'. That was cool, and it helps the audience remember the speech.
Kate, your speech demonstrated confidence in public speaking, reinforcing your points and TED wish. Your speech inspired everyone presenting after you to have confidence and be confident in themselves.
You were very articulate. I appreciate that you used your speech in order to encourage everyone else. Very cool. Since this was the thing you were most passionate about, perhaps you should pursue a career in human resources or one like it. Very good
Wow! You really did a great job of conveying confidence! That was just incredible! You deffinitely engaged your audience and made them excited to hear what you had to say! Excellent job, it was also directly applicable to what we are doing right now! Excellent job!
Kate, You were very composed during your speech. You constantly looked at everyone throughout the classroom. I think the can idea was wonderful and it made everyone laugh. Your speech was awesome, great job!
Your talk was amazing. You showed much confidence, and helped to encourage others to be confident, and really helped to calm my nerves a bit. Great job!
