I liked how you were so forward, telling us all what we are doing wrong. Your sound effect really added to your presentation. I could tell that you were really passionate about your topic.
I love this topic. It was funny, but it was also very serious. Ingratitude is a very important subject. You presented it well. Also your story in the middle about Rosemarie was very powerful, and added to the whole speech.
Sarah, I completely agree with your view of Americans. I have always said that Americans are awful, and ought to be shown just how horrible the world is in comparison to the world we are used to. Thank you for the reminder that we are affluent and don't realize what luxury we live in.
Way to refuse to sit on the fence. You chose your side, your opinion, and you stuck with it. This is very admirable and all too rare. The story with your grandmother was an excellent technique - you kept the audience involved by throwing something unexpected at them. Good Job
Sarah, You're right. We Americans have more than most countries. We are greedy and that is just because we have privileges. You were very passionate about your topic and that is great. I loved your speech!
Your speech was very raw and uncensored. It was also very funny and it made me think about what I have. It was so good how you said that you said that she was gracious for the bad thing that happened to your grandmother
Great Ted wish! I like how you sort of guilted the audience in a positive way (If that makes sense) you made us want to make a change because were the ones who can make that change.
WOW! Your speech was really inspiring. We all focus on the negative parts of life. Your TED talk really forced me to think about all the great things I have in life.
It is very important to be grateful in life, we take for granted a lot in this community and country. Gratitude, thankfulness, and appreciation is important to a good/happy life.
Wow. This is so completely true. It is scary how ungrateful we are. I know I am guilty of it and probably everyone else in this room. We really do have everything that we could ever need or want. You are a great public speaker.
I had to write my comment after you finished because you were so convincing and engaging. Love how the story circles back. I'm out of words for your speech. Wow.
Sarah your speech was extremely motivating. You were very passionate and you explained something very well that is pretty difficult to explain. Good job!! :)
Your speech was so great and extremely relevant to our lives. The fact that you didn't reveal that your example story was actually personally connected to you until almost the end was really effective and interesting. And I liked your sound effect.
