  3. I love this topic. It was funny, but it was also very serious. Ingratitude is a very important subject. You presented it well.
Also your story in the middle about Rosemarie was very powerful, and added to the whole speech.

  4. Sarah,
I completely agree with your view of Americans. I have always said that Americans are awful, and ought to be shown just how horrible the world is in comparison to the world we are used to. Thank you for the reminder that we are affluent and don't realize what luxury we live in.

  7. Way to refuse to sit on the fence. You chose your side, your opinion, and you stuck with it. This is very admirable and all too rare. The story with your grandmother was an excellent technique - you kept the audience involved by throwing something unexpected at them. Good Job

  8. Sarah,
You're right. We Americans have more than most countries. We are greedy and that is just because we have privileges. You were very passionate about your topic and that is great. I loved your speech!

  9. Your speech was very raw and uncensored. It was also very funny and it made me think about what I have. It was so good how you said that you said that she was gracious for the bad thing that happened to your grandmother

  10. Great Ted wish! I like how you sort of guilted the audience in a positive way (If that makes sense) you made us want to make a change because were the ones who can make that change.

  15. Wow. This is so completely true. It is scary how ungrateful we are. I know I am guilty of it and probably everyone else in this room. We really do have everything that we could ever need or want. You are a great public speaker.

  23. Great job! I love how you talk about being grateful. Society definitely is lacking gratefulness, including me at times. That was very inspiring.

  24. Your speech was so great and extremely relevant to our lives. The fact that you didn't reveal that your example story was actually personally connected to you until almost the end was really effective and interesting.
And I liked your sound effect.
