• Reading 1984 through page 224 (fishbowl tomorrow)
• Start thinking about/preparing for your outline for the final. The following is all that you can have on your outline paper before writing the essay next Thursday, December 20 :

• Citations
• Key Words

Remember to use at least 6 quotes from at least 5 of the 13 texts we've read this semester.

As a class, we decided where the grade for the final should go. Here are the values of each category in the grade book right now:

Reading comprehension    - 25%     -    279 Points Possible
Writing                             - 25%     -    460 Points Possible
Critical thinking                 - 25%     -    490 Points Possible
Vocab                              - 10%     -    533 Points Possible
Lit Projects                       - 15%     -    380 Points Possible

The final is worth 200 points. We decided to put the grade into the Reading Comprehension, so the final will be 10.25% of your total grade.

We wrote our end of semester reflections, printed and gave to Smith (or shared if you brought your own laptop)
