Memoir Project - Victoria Cheng

  1. This was really good! I understood what you were trying to say and I liked the pictures. You were almost over five minutes, but then it was about five minutes exactly. :) The only thing I would suggest is to put more emotion in your voice, especially at the part where you win the story contest.

  2. I thought you did a really great job of keeping your voice thread on topic, and that all the pieces shared the same theme of your best friend. I would have liked to see a more conclusive ending, but everything else was good- especially the quality of your voice recording. There was never a time where I had to guess what you were saying.

  3. Great job! I love how you actually spoke up into the microphone, so it was easy to tell what you were saying. You did a great job of taking small snippets of your memoirs, and not summarizing the entire thing. The only thing that I would fix is that maybe you should make a more clear distinction between your memoirs. It's almost like they flowed together too nicely. Otherwise, great job!

  4. Hi "Violet" (: I thought your stories were really interesting and I think you tied them all together really well! Your voice was really clear, which was nice. Something I would fix would be to put more emotion into your voice. I know thats something you can do! Especially when your mad at me! Overall though I think you did a good job and I was really interested in what you had to say!

  6. So. Overall, I think I did pretty well. I stumbled on some of the words and I could have had a better closure. I also agree with my "reviewers" about putting more emotion in my voice - something I should work on. I do believe that I did well on the transition part. I liked how I connected all the memoirs so that it flowed smoothly. The length was pretty good, although I could have practiced a little more. I think I would give myself about a 3 to a 3.5.
